Villa Angelina

VILLA ANGELINA is a luxurious villa situated in the center of Positano with private pool and spectacular view over Positano and the Mediterranean sea. The villa is 500 square meters. There are 8 bedrooms with the possibility to add another 4 single beds and 15 washrooms. It can host up to 20 people. It is equipped with A/C, Wi-Fi and heating.

You may reach the villa by going up the 18th century street of the village named, Li Parlati, then crossing a little street and go up 118 short steps, slowly while crossing a perfumed citrus garden.

If you have a car, you may park it in a public parking lot for an extra daily fee (valet service included).

You may reach the center of Positano in a short ten minute walk or fifteen minutes to the beach.

Villa Angelina is an impressive building built in 1741, located in the oldest district of Positano, not far from the church of St. Giacomo.

In the year 700 on the Roman ruins, there were several villas built to the North of the village with panoramic views of the bay, the Amalfi Coast and Capri , that were of great importance. The villas were well exposed to sunlight, so the rich owners of ships that transported products in the Mediterranean who wanted to show off their claims to society of paintings, stucco, floor tiles, frescoes that were all done by local workers would expose them at these villas.

Because of the emigration to the Americas and the consequences due to geopolitical changes at the beginning of the 900's, many of these magnificent homes were abandoned. However, today thanks to those with greater knowledge and sensitivity, many have preserved their buildings by renovating them due to the high tourism in the area.

Villa Angelina is the perfect place for a wedding. It is luxurious and exceptional villa that was built in 1741. The villa has an authentic atmosphere and you can enjoy a unique time on 300 meters of terrace with colonnade, Neapolitian paintings that are found in major museums throughout the world and were made famous in the 18th century.

Villa Description

Garden Level

A staircase leads to the main entrance of the garden level. The garden is full of bougainvillea, almond, olive, lemon and mandarin trees from which the staff uses to make home -made juices and marmalades that you will enjoy for breakfast.

The expansive main terrace runs the length of the villa and is set with both, dining and living areas, accommodating 16 people, under the lovely pergola. From here you will have a panoramic view of Positano and Capri. The terrace has huge antique urns that once were used for oil and now are filled with flowers and plants.

Double doors open from the terrace to the dining/kitchen area and the main living room. There is also an adjacent terrace with an infinity-edge pool with sun beds and an outdoor shower. Guests may enjoy the pool and then conveniently take a hot shower.

Dining Room: has a double-sized vaulted ceiling with two antique wood dining tables which can accommodate 16 people with comfortable upholstered chairs. The dining area opens to the kitchen and also to the large terrace.

Kitchen: is partially open to the dining room area. It is fully equipped with gas stove, double ovens, a microwave, large refrigerator/freezer, double sinks, American coffee maker, Italian Coffee machine and other professional appliances. There is also a wood burning oven for making pizzas, cooking fish, meats and fresh bread.

Living Room: there is a double living room that can be reached from the terrace or dining-room. Here you will find an entertainment center with a 55" plasma T.V screen, three seating areas and large double doors that open up to the large terrace, for comfortable indoor and outdoor living. There is a library with a variety of books in different languages, a work desk with integrated office services (scanner, fax and photocopier, all functioning via Wi-Fi), an iPad for guests' use and iPod with Bluetooth with enabled portable Boss stereo. The garden level also has two guest bathrooms.

Note: The garden level also has an independent access to a gate that leads to a private path to the Villa Vescovo which is just 100 meters away making both properties a perfect rental accommodation for a large party.

Upper Level -4 suites

There are four bedroom suites with en-suite bathrooms. The bathrooms have antique Neapolitan ceramic mosaics that dates back to the 1700's. All this beauty yet with all the comforts of a luxury villa. There is a main stairwell that opens to a common terrace that runs the length of the house of which all the bedrooms can enjoy.

First Bedroom Suite: is a matrimonial bedroom with coffee table and chairs, en-suite bathroom with shower. There are double doors that open to the common terrace.

Second Bedroom Suite: is a matrimonial bedroom with an en-suite bathroom with shower and a large seating area. There are double doors that go out to the common terrace and a west-facing standing balcony that overlooks Positano.

Third Bedroom Suite: is a matrimonial bedroom with en-suite bathroom with shower and doors that lead to the common terrace.

Fourth Bedroom: is a matrimonial bedroom with en-suite bathroom and shower and French Doors that lead to the terrace.

Lower level-4 suites

This level can be accessed from the main level from the stairwell which leads to a landing with a guest bathroom. The level opens to a common terrace that runs the length of the house and offers direct access to all the bedrooms. A set of stairs leads to the pool area above.
